About Us

Our Story
Our journey began in the rugged terrains of Rajasthan, where our founder’s early life was marked by the hardships of farming and cattle rearing. Despite the daily struggles of rural life, he was determined to seek a better future. In 1997, he moved to Mumbai, battling the challenges of finding work in a bustling city. Starting from the bottom as a chai wala, he worked tirelessly, often facing long hours and harsh conditions. With grit and determination, he saved enough to start his own tea thela (cart).
 

Despite many setbacks, from competition to financial hurdles, he turned his humble cart into a tea stall. His relentless spirit saw him through the ups and downs, and soon he expanded to open his first restaurant in Gujarat. Eager to explore new horizons, he ventured to the Gulf, enduring tough conditions to learn the ropes of the culinary experience in a foreign land. Returning to India, he launched another restaurant in Kerala, each venture bringing new lessons and challenges.

Seeking to refine his craft, he moved to the USA, where he became the Head Chef at a renowned Hyderabadi restaurant in Virginia. With a wealth of knowledge and a deep love for Indian cuisine, he later moved to Texas to lead a vegetarian restaurant. But the dream of owning his own place always beckoned.

Determined to start fresh, he chose California as the birthplace of INDIAN FUSION, blending all the flavors, traditions, and experiences he had gathered along the way. INDIAN FUSION is not just a restaurant; it’s a testament to the perseverance and passion that fuels our founder, offering a rich tapestry of flavors that capture the spirit of India, from the North to the South.
